I began my career here at the University of Texas at Austin studying Economics. I always planned to pursue a career in business and knew that a MBA was in my future. As an incoming freshman, I thought a business undergraduate degree and a Master of Business Administration would be redundant. After a summer internship in between freshman and sophomore year, I realized this was not the case. An accomplished analyst just removed from Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business highly advised that I pursue a degree in finance, and I took his advice to heart. I kept my grades up sophomore year, and I am now very pleased with my decision after making the switch.
